Visit at the University of Kiel, Germany
20. September 2024
At the end of September 2024, representatives of the COLOSSE project visited the University of Kiel, specifically the groups of Prof. Holger Kesten (Plasma Technology) and Prof. Jan Benedikt (Experimental Plasma Physics). The primary aim of this visit was to present the project and its activities that could deepen mutual collaboration. The presentation took the form of a lecture attended by approximately twenty researchers and doctoral students from these teams. Two of the doctoral students expressed interest in the planned postdoctoral positions that will be opened as part of the project. In addition to the lecture, there was also a tour to laboratories focused on unconventional plasma diagnostics, passive thermal probes, plasma and ion sources, systems for generating nano and microparticles, and several systems for generating low-temperature atmospheric plasma discharges.

"Synergies Coordinators Day” in Brussels
7. June 2024
As representatives of COLOSSE project, it was a privilege to attend the "Synergies Coordinators Day” in Brussels, organized by the European Commission and European Research Executive Agency (REA). This event brought together all 16 projects funded under the Horizon Europe Pathways to Synergies call. We had a nice opportunity to meet our Project Officer Soraya Impens and connect with fellow coordinators. The day was full of valuable exchanges, learning and networking.
